Mining for gold

Have you ever seen a hydro gold mine?
I’ve ridden my motorbike through Trinity Valley in Northern California where you see miles of boulders exposed by the high pressure of water jets.
Panning for gold is another way of mining that they used to do right here at Goldstream Park in Victoria.
It’s the exact opposite of hydro mining in that it’s low pressure – just sifting the excess gravel away until something valuable is left.
I’m mining for gold right now. I’m slowly sharing my experience with you, hopefully adding value to your business and someday I’ll have removed your fear and replaced it with trust and you’ll choose to do business with Alley Kat.
But you are also sitting on a rich vein of gold. It’s your past client list and all of your new clients who come in everyday.
You don’t need heavy equipment. Sure, technology is available – but I started out just chatting with my clients when they picked up their signs, or calling them afterwards and making sure they were happy.
Then to make it easy I would send them an email with a link to our Alley Kat Signs and Marketing reviews like this…

Now I send a text message and a link and then follow up with emails.
Some leave a review, some don’t. Sometimes, I have to ask a few more times. Sometimes they say they will but never do.
Oh well. That’s life.
Sometimes you strike it rich, sometimes you only get a couple nuggets a week.
But here’s one thing I know.
If you don’t ask, you don’t get any!
